• Jews and those engaged in a conversion process,
• their partners, and
• persons who, in the opinion of the board, have a sufficiently strong connection to Judaism and/or the Jewish people.

All those persons described above must accept their Jewish faith to the exclusion of any other faith.

We consider as a Jew anyone with Jewish parents and anyone who has formally converted to Judaism. We also accept as a Jew anyone with one Jewish parent.

(Just to clarify: those who consider themselves as ‘Messianic Jews’ are followers of Christianity and membership to the Open Jewish Congregation Klal Israël is not possible.)
